Dr. Graham Reader Honored by Cambridge Who's Who

Dr. Graham Reader received the South Atlantic Medal

    WINDSOR, ON, CANADA, November 23, 2010 /Post Graduate PR News/ -- Dr. Graham Reader, Special Adviser to the President at the University of Windsor, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.

As a special adviser to the president, Dr. Reader focuses on the advancement and continued development of engineering. His day-to-day responsibilities include meeting and advising the university president, and industry and government officials, and following up on all fundraising and events to promote and encourage interest for the university and engineering. He previously worked as the department head of mechanical and manufacturing engineering at the University of Calgary and the Dean of Engineering at the University of Windsor.

Dr. Reader is retired as a commander from the Royal Navy, and received numerous citations while serving as a commander. He also has published more than 300 publications including five books, one in Russian, and received numerous best paper awards.

In addition to serving as a Fellow for the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, Dr. Reader is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He earned degrees at the University of Bradford and is a recipient of the South Atlantic Medal.
