As partner at Keane, Reese, Vesely & Gerdes, P.A., Mr. Gerdes practices commercial litigation and appellate law. Prior to his law practice, he worked for the Raytheon Company from 1978 to 1997, where he gained experience in program management, defense acquisitions regulations, and federal acquisition regulations.
Mr. Gerdes received his JD, with High Honors, in 1999 from St. Thomas University, School of Law. In 2000, he became a Licensed Attorney through the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the American Collegiate Moot Court Association, the American Bar Association, and the St. Petersburg Chapter of the Florida Bar Association.
